Carol Windsor’s Pastel Pet Portraits!!

You all must see the BEAUTIFUL pastel portraits that my new friend Carol Windsor from Florida drew for me!!! She came to visit her puppy “Tippy Tales”. While she was here she & her daughter got the farm tour of course! She met ALL my dogs including my 4 farm dogs, a few of the horses & cows, chickens, peacocks, and the pheasant. Of course it would take all day to show her the whole farm but she got the short tour!

A few weeks later she surprised me with these pastel portrait gifts of my farm doggies Maggie & Woodrow!!! (They are named after the “Lonesome Dove” characters of course – For those of you that don’t know, that is the best Western movie ever made!!). Oh my gosh, they are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! If you have ever met these two you would see how these portraits show not only what they look like but also their personalities soooooooooo well!!! These portraits will be hanging up proudly in my “Doggie Labor & Delivery Room” forever!!! THANK YOU Carol!!!

A Little About Pet Artist Carol Windsor:

Carol Windsor was born and raised in Ohio and has been a resident of Vero Beach for 12 years.  A creative at heart, Carol took art classes at The Ohio State University during college, but being a mom and her corporate career took priority. Through the years, art remained a passion to be explored. After retiring from the a career in product development at J.P. Morgan Chase a few years ago, she was finally able to spend more time diving into pastel portraits (dogs are her speciality!), photography and watercolor.  Her incredible gift and  talent resulted in the creation of Windsor Arts which is a culmination of works done by Carol from around the world inspired by animals, nature and her family. When she is not painting or taking photos, you can find her in the yoga studio, traveling, chick golfing, volunteering or with her family.  She can be reached by emailing [email protected] or via text/phone at 614-657-4408.
