Fall is beginning here at Sunny Day Puppies – My favorite part of the year!!
I know that I don’t send out newsletters very often but I do update my website almost every day! If you really want to keep up on the news here, please take a look around my website every now & then. Well, lets see if I can update you on all of the happenings here since my last newsletter. Spring & Summer have gone by very quickly it seems! Our son Cody & his fiance’ Alex have been working past exhaustion as doctor & nurse to help save people sick with Covid who have not been vaccinated. Please, if you have not been vaccinated- just stay home. We are VERY excitedly looking forward to their wedding this Fall!!! No honeymoon allowed for them since they have so many Covid patients depending on them. They have 2 days off.
Cody & Al – I think she is trying to talk him into a puppy?!?! What do you think?!? Wedding gift?!?!
Happy Retirement!!
Well, back to my little doggies! We had 4 mommy’s celebrating their retirement this past year! Lily, Paisley, & Echo are all now living their well deserved lives of luxury in their new, very carefully chosen forever homes. Although I miss them dearly, as this is one of the most difficult things with breeding when my retiring dogs go, I do LOVE seeing them happy in their adventures with their new families! Our hearts will always be together.
Introducing New Mommy’s!!
Those 4 WONDERFUL retiring ladies have new mommy dogs who will be taking over for them next year. And they are also WONDERFUL ladies!! Here they are! And it’s going to be sooooooo exciting to see the little puppies they have for us all this coming year!!!
Some Future Plans:
There is always risks of introduction of disease involved when a new outside dog is brought into my home here. Reducing those risks to as close to zero as possible are always in my mind. I will now be breeding my own future mommy dogs using the very best of the very best parent lines. And that is why we now have our new little Chocolate/Tan Parti Mini Poodle “Scamper”!!! In future years you will be seeing his daughters as mommy dogs here at Sunny Day Puppies!!! WoW!! That’s sure something to look forward to!!! Scamper just arrived last month and he is everything I ever dreamed of and more in a potential daddy dog!!! He has already made many friends with my big farm dogs!

My wife and I are retired empty nesters looking for this type of “friend”.
Oh yes, Riddle has her new home already in IL with a family who has one of her puppies!!!
