Scamper is a Chocolate Parti Moyen/ Klein / large Mini Poodle. He has the most wonderful personality! He is phenomenal!!!
I am VERY proud of this little fellow. He is 150% of the dog I was looking for! It took me a LONG time to find him but little Scamper is proving to have been well worth my wait. I just couldn’t be happier with this sweet, funny guy! A forever happy personality, health, heartiness, genetics to die for, and SOOOO sweet!
Scamper’s favorite sports are hugging, kids, swimming, hiking, playing with his buddies, cuddling, and did I mention Hugging?!?! 🙂
Scamper was bred by Laura Koch of Petit Jean Poodles in AZ. I am very proud of this little fellow. He is 150% of the dog I was looking for! Below are photos of Scamper’s dam & sire. They are both the results of Laura’s lifetime of breeding the best to the best!
We are VERY excited to see Scamper’s puppies coming in 2026!!! He is Definitely Daddy material! I just can’t brag enough about him – you will just have to come & meet him for yourself! His “wife” will be my best-of-my-best mommy dogs here “Nickers”. I am planning to keep 2 of his female puppies to be future mommies here!

The Poodle
Identical are the Standard, Moyen, Klein, Mini, & Toy Poodle except in height, they are all descendants of the Standard Poodle. The Moyen/Klein (mid-size usually around the 20 to 30 pound range) Poodle is a smart, sensitive little dog who make perfect pets for a person who has time to pamper these natural little clowns and be amused by their quaint antics. Well proportioned and squarely built, the Poodle is an intelligent breed with a delicate disposition and are very easy to train. Poodles are delightful, good natured, and lively dogs. The Poodle makes an excellent family pet who will adapt to any situation and will try anything an owner wants. Poodles are an efficient choice for the owner who wants an obedient dog. They are affectionate with their family, a little wary with strangers at first, but still accepting of them. They love to be around family and friends, and get along well with other animals and children. They come in many colors, and have very curly, thick, very soft fur. Not only do they have an winning personality, but their hypoallergenic coat is non-shedding. (as are all my dog breeds) Poodles are bright, perky little dogs. Responsive, alert, sensitive and eager to please describes this breed.
The Poodle rates very high as a watch-dog. These dogs are highly alert and will let you know if something unusual is happening. Their Learning rate is also Very High. Obedience – Very High. Problem Solving – Very High. They are extremely intelligent and live to please their humans. There are not very many breeds that rate this high in everything. This is why the Poodle has been such a popular breed for so many generations.
The reason the Poodle is my favorite breed is because of their intelligence (2nd only to the Border Collie) along with their willingness to please their humans – combines to make the perfect breed! It’s almost as if they were born already trained. They seem to read your mind! It is hard to explain but once you have one, you will understand!
This breed is known to have a very long life span of 15 to 17 years.
