Hi Mary Lisa,

Well, I must say, it has been one of the most joyous weekends of my entire life. I’ve been a Mommy to Sgt. Mary Hays & and Auntie to Uncle Sam for 3 full days, and my cheeks hurt from non-stop smiling.

Sarge & Sammy (who I am now babysitting for a week) spent the entire day playing, romping, wrestling, eating, drinking & peeing. After 2 days of “nibbling” at her food, she suddenly had to beat her brother to the food bowl. I have filled it TWICE today, and they are both “currently” napping, very fat & happy little pups.

Everyone seems to be adjusting very well, and both babies seem happy. I am constantly AMAZED that they let me know when they have to go out. Only 2 small accidents. I have Robyn’s bell hanging on my back door and heard it ringing a couple of hours ago….. It was lil Sammy, pawing at it. I picked him up & took him outside. Within a minute, he peed & then started circles to poop. I was sooooo proud of him! (and made sure he knew it)

These 2 babies are the smartest, most personable, little puppies I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I can’t even imagine how much more joy they will bring to all of us over their lifetimes. My husband is already talking about another “Oreo” puppy in Spring of 2011 to keep Sarge company when Sammy is at home.

I’m attaching a couple of more pics. Let me know if I am getting out of control 🙂

Sharon

SAMMY’S JUST THE MOST SPECTACULAR LITTLE CREATURE EVER!!!! He won Pet of the month in the Groton herald!

Sharon & family took such good care of him while I was away AMEN….

Doug is as much in love as I am….Liberty is getting there…. perhaps a bit pouty at first, but now sharing her favorite toys, being Alpha, teaching Pirate Wrestling, showing yard boundaries, chasing chipmunks, circus dancing, and finally, snuggling w/ Sam.

W/O a doubt, one of the smartest dogs I have ever loved/owned. He is PURE LITTLE BOY. Reminds me of our 23 year old son as a toddler.

Similar stories from the Mayer household for Sgt. Mary Hayes. Mark my word, you’ll be shipping another baby to Boston Logan soon…and I’ll be happy to make the Delta cargo run again to pick up Sarge’s new baby )

I am resting w/ a warm & fuzzy heart tonite…and his name Sam. he can sit & wait with one hand commands but screams like a banchee when he goes into his sooo perfect crate…totally taking advantage of Doug by crying like a girl….I just keep reminding him that he’s not the BOSS of me. Training Doug is ALWAYS harder than training the dog—-AGAIN!!!!

Thanx for the Angel….God knew I was needing one

Just wanted you to know how much we LOVE our Sarge!

Our beautiful puppy is so much more than we could have expected. Sarge, is Mikey’s BEST friend. They are together ALL the time. She is such a wonderful addition to our family. YOUR baby girl came to us with so much love in her heart, that it made it hard not to love her instantly.

How can I thank you for giving us such a beautiful, loving puppy?????

Her beautiful cousin “Darby” is right next door, and we see him daily.

John LOVES that baby! They are out walking constantly, and he always has a big smile for us…..

I am so happy that your puppies have found loving homes in Groton, Mass.

THANK YOU………We love you, and think of you often.

Love Sharon 🙂
